Good Advice to Rock Your Finals

College finals are stressful. I asked my Facebook friends to send notes to our students as they prepare to take their finals.

I received thoughtful responses from all over the world. Where I come from, it truly takes a village. It’s not just a saying. Here is some good energy for students everywhere.

Do what aligns with your destiny, not your history.

Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.

There is a place inside yourself where nothing is impossible. Seek that.

You can do anything as long as you put your heart and mind to it.

Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside that is greater than any obstacle.

Life is tough, my darling, but so are you.

Your hard work will pay off.

Think it! Believe it! Achieve it!

Tests ask you to pull out and connect threads of a tapestry made up of all you know. All you know integrated with who you are is a unique, beautiful tapestry. Imagine it. Wrap yourself in it. Let your brain feel an agility between calmness and analysis.

Eat well, rest well. Trust and believe in yourself.

It always seems impossible until it’s done.

Be confident and believe in yourself.

Do your best and forget the rest.

Review material in short increments rather than longer crash reviews. You will do well.

Believe in yourself! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own power, you cannot be successful or happy.

This is a test. This is only a test.

The universe has equipped you with everything you need to succeed. Tap into it. The universe has more than enough for all of us.

A test is an impermanent thing. It does not define you. Above all, be true to who you are because at the intersection of your deep passion and the world’s great need is where you will leave your mark.

You are capable of more than you know.

Believe that you can and you are halfway there.

Step high across that finish line, we’ll cheer for you.

Relax. Breathe. Remember only the end of the world is the end of the world.

Success is part of your DNA. Claim it.

If I at 51 and enrolled in school can do it, you can too.

You are capable of amazing things.

Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.

It always seems impossible until it’s done.

This is your moment to shine. Show your excellence. Show us the hard work and dedication it took you to reach this goal. Not only will you all be successful in this one small step in life, you will continue to prosper and shine like the diamonds you are. You have been molded, polished, and presented to the world to share your beauty. Good luck to you all. Heads high, minds open and focus on the task at hand.

A diamond is just a piece of coal that handled stress exceptionally well.

Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and twice as beautiful as you ever imagined.

Trust yourself. You know more than you think you do.

Walk into your finals like you own the place.

Ambition can creep as well as soar.

Step into your greatness! Trust in the knowledge you’ve been taught and take your time answering each question. You can and will do a fantastic job! I’m proud of your efforts and your ability to excel to greatness.

You got this!

The universe is your university. Never stop learning. Each day is a lesson.

All one can ask for is that you do your best. Give them what you’ve got and nothing less.

You can do all things (including passing your exams) through Christ (or whatever higher power you believe in) that strengthens you.

Every little thing is gonna be all right.
