Paul F. Morris, an art instructor at the Front Range Community College campus in Fort Collins, received an honorable mention award at the 9th International Ceramics Festival and Competition, Mino in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The two works he sent for this festival and competition have been acquired for the permanent collection of the Toki City Institute of Ceramics.

Morris also is a visiting artist at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kan. He presented a lecture and attended the opening of his solo show, “Sustaining Persistence” in the Harry Krug Gallery. The exhibition runs until Dec. 8.
