Join us for a launch party of the college’s new bachelor’s degree completion program in business for creative industries.

Creative professionals now have a new path to turn their passion into a great career with a bachelor’s degree in business for creative industries from FRCC.

More employers are looking for creative professionals with bachelor’s degrees. Students in this program will develop the business skills they need to take their creative work to the next level—opening doors to higher paying creative leadership and management opportunities.

With the Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in business for creative industries from FRCC, students will gain the skills they need to land higher paying creative positions or to start their own business.

FRCC is the only college in Colorado to offer this completion degree. Come get all the details at one of our launch parties!

Come celebrate our new degree, get an overview of the program and hear from:

  •  Colorado Creative Industries Director Josh Blanchard who will share the state’s plans for positioning Colorado as a hub of innovative thinking, practice and business to expand creative economies across the state. (*Blanchard plans to attend the November 9 event at 1pm)
  • FRCC’s President Colleen Simpson, EdD, about value of the bachelor’s degree opportunities offered at FRCC—and through the Colorado Community College System.
  • FRCC’s Vice President of Academic Affairs/Provost Rebecca Woulfe, PhD, as she shares her inspiration for this new program offering for students in creative programs.
  • Academic Dean Hector Garza and Academic Chair Dolly Rosenbrook, as they welcome students and provide more information about the program.  

The event will also offer time for people to meet with academic advisors, ask questions and learn how to declare the BAS program in business for creative industries. This informal gathering will also include music and light refreshments.
