Front Range Community College is hosting two public stargazing events at its campus in Longmont in April.
These FREE events are open to all FRCC students, faculty, instructors—and the general public. Please remember to wear your mask, regardless of vaccination status. No reservations are necessary.
Amateur astronomers are invited to bring their own telescopes to set up in the courtyard.
The observatory is in the courtyard of the Classroom Building of FRCC’s Boulder County Campus, 2121 Miller Drive in Longmont. Once you enter the courtyard, just look for the white dome.
- Thursday, April 6
- Wednesday, April 19
- Both events from 8:00 – 9:30 PM
The event may be canceled because of inclement weather or unforeseen equipment issues. Check this link for local sky conditions.
