Join us for an analysis of the crisis in Ukraine with FRCC faculty member Ian Feinhandler, PhD.

Dr. Ian Feinhandler, geography faculty member at Front Range Community College, will present an analysis of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In his talk, he’ll explore the Russian security concerns that led to the invasion of Ukraine. Feinhandler will also look at what the invasion means for the liberal world order—the organizations and agreements that have promoted global peace and prosperity for the last 75 years.

Feinhandler has a PhD in political geography from the University of Colorado. He teaches world regional geography and human geography at FRCC’s Boulder County campus.

In addition to his position at FRCC, he serves on faculty at CU-Boulder and has worked in the private sector as an analyst of international affairs.
