Dr. Darcy Litzerman is a new dean of instruction at Front Range Community College. She will oversee the Larimer Campus academic departments of Business; Creative Arts, Design, and Humanities; Rhetoric, Languages, and Philosophy; and Social and Behavioral Sciences.
Most recently, Litzerman was a faculty member for the Presidents Leadership Program at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience at public and private colleges and universities and more than 10 years leadership and supervisory experience, having served as vice president for academic affairs and interim president at Friends University in Kansas.
Litzerman has a Ph.D. in English from the University of Connecticut, a master’s in English from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree (Phi Beta Kappa) from Mount Holyoke College for Women.
