Kris Binard has been named associate vice president of enrollment management and student success at Front Range Community College.
Binard, a Longmont resident, had been dean of Student Services at FRCC’s Larimer Campus in Fort Collins since 2005, having served in 2004-05 as dean of Student Services at FRCC’s Boulder County Campus. She joined FRCC in 1998 as director of Student Life at the Larimer Campus.
In her new position, Binard will oversee all aspects of student services, supervise the Registrar’s Office, and work on special projects.
“We are committed to student success,” said President Andy Dorsey. “FRCC enrolls more than 31,000 students a year. We need someone with Kris’s expertise to ensure our students have the greatest opportunities to succeed and complete their degrees and certificates.”
Binard has a doctorate in educational leadership and innovation from the University of Colorado-Denver, a master’s degree in student affairs in higher education from Colorado State University, and a bachelor’s degree, also from CSU.
