Help support survivors by spreading the word during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Take Back the Night is the oldest worldwide movement to stand against sexual violence. The goal of these events is to raise awareness of sexualized violence—by shattering the silence and stigma around it—in order to support survivors in their healing process.
Organized by FRCC’s student Feminist Uprising Collective club, faculty members, instructors, and the college’s Student Life team, this event will include an evening of powerful guest speakers, music, food and activities, as well as a candlelight vigil.

Cohn’s activism has garnered significant attention. including mainstream media coverage and the honor of receiving the 2024 YWCA “Energizing the Future Award.”
She participated in the 2024 Telluride Student Film Symposium and was one of four filmmakers selected for the prestigious 2025 Athena Film Festival Documentary Pitch Program. Cohn has had numerous public speaking engagements, including the 2022 YWCA Reproductive Rights protest, the Boulder County DA’s office, and a Ted Talk on sexual harm.
