Front Range Community College has selected Lilian Clemente as the college’s new executive director of strategic marketing and communications. With more than 15 years of experience in higher education marketing and communications, Clemente brings with her a wealth of expertise and a track record of success in advancing brand reputation and driving enrollment growth.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lilian to our team,” said FRCC President Colleen Simpson, EdD. “Her extensive experience, strategic mindset, and passion for education will undoubtedly strengthen our college’s presence and support our mission to provide world-class education to our students. We look forward to the exciting contributions she will make to our institution.”

Clemente’s Background

Clemente’s career in the field includes leadership positions at well-known universities across the country. Her strategic vision and creative approach have helped these institutions expand their reach and enhance their national and global impact. She has spearheaded large-scale marketing and communications initiatives, contributing to the success of institutions such as:

  • The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
  • Arizona State University
  • Northern Arizona University

Most recently, Clemente served as the director of communications at Cintana Education, where she played a pivotal role in amplifying the organization’s mission and brand on a global scale. Her efforts extended beyond Cintana Education itself, as she worked to assist universities worldwide in effectively communicating their affiliation with the ASU and Cintana Alliance. Clemente also spearheaded the implementation of the renowned Powered by ASU brand in the communities these universities serve, showcasing their commitment to excellence in education.

Prior to her role at Cintana, Clemente made significant contributions to Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of North Carolina, driving enrollment growth, expanding international student enrollment, and leading teams in creative strategy and implementation, alumni engagement and internal communications.

Innovative Leadership

Clemente’s passion for expanding access to education—and her belief in the transformative power of colleges and universities—have been the driving forces behind her career. She holds a master’s degree in higher and post-secondary education, a bachelor’s degree in business communication, and a certificate in international business from Arizona State University.

“As the leader of our marketing and communication efforts at FRCC, Lilian will apply her expertise and innovative approach to further elevate the college’s brand and expand its reach,” said Dr. Simpson. “Her leadership will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing campaigns, supporting enrollment management and enhancing internal and external communications.”

Originally from Brazil, Clemente has called the United States home for nearly two decades. Her appointment at FRCC begins at the end of this month.
