Pumpkin Catapult Flyer

Come watch teams of FRCC physics students as they compete to launch their projectiles the farthest.

Teams of physics students (and other related organizations) from Front Range Community College will test their catapult designing and building skills at the college’s semiannual pumpkin catapult competition in Westminster this week.

Community members are invited to watch the festivities! Please join us to watch this friendly fall competition.

Spectators at the event will get to vote on the “People’s Choice” award. Everyone present (who is not a competitor or a judge) will be given ballots to vote for their favorite team. The team receiving the most votes will earn five bonus points—on top of their distance score.
