Why I'm Vaccinated (Librarian Che Gant)

Open to everyone age 12 and up—for first or second dose.

As students up and down the Front Range get ready to start school this fall, Front Range Community College is hosting COVID-19 vaccination events at the school’s campuses in Fort Collins, Longmont and Westminster.

“As students come back to classrooms this is a critical time to make sure they’re protected against the virus and its variants,” said FRCC President Andy Dorsey. “Getting vaccinated can help them keep their classmates and teachers safe as well.”

The COVID-19 vaccine will be available at no cost at each of FRCC’s three campuses. Appointments and walk ups are both welcome.

Safe, Easy, Effective

FRCC is encouraging its students, employees and the general public to get vaccinated as a way to return to normal campus and community life in the wake of the COVID pandemic. The COVID-19 vaccines are safe, FREE, and they work.

“For everyone who is ready to get vaccinated, the campus vaccine clinics are a quick and easy way to protect yourself and everyone around you,” said Dorsey.

Planning to Attend? A Few Things to Remember on the Day of the Event:

  • Wear loose clothing that will allow access to your upper arm.
  • Immediately after vaccination, you will be asked to wait for 15-30 minutes in the recovery area to ensure your health and safety is a priority.
  • Wear a mask at all times while in the testing area; no exceptions.
  • Important reminder: If you’re currently sick, please do not come in for your vaccine, as it’s best to remain home and not expose others.

TrueCare24™, a nationwide Health & Wellness platform for families and businesses, has been appointed by Colorado’s Vaccines for All campaign as the partner in operating mobile vaccine clinics around the state.
