Online classes work well for many students. Maybe they have family or work responsibilities, or transportation issues, or they live in an area without convenient access to a college campus. Whatever the reason, taking college classes online is a way to fit higher education into their lives.

Here, at Front Range Community College, we offer a variety of  associate degrees and certificates that can be completed entirely online. These are the same degrees and certificates earned in a traditional, classroom or lab setting. You learn the same material, just in a different way.

Affordable Internet Access

Some people may think online classes are out of their reach because they can’t afford access to the internet. That changed this month in Colorado. Comcast now has a program called Internet Essentials, which provides high-speed Internet service for $9.95 a month plus tax. It’s available to community college students who live in a Comcast service area and are federal Pell Grant-eligible. Find details here.
