road sign: "scholarship just ahead"

Three students in Front Range Community College’s Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Program will attend in the spring semester with scholarships totaling $4,500. The semester starts Jan. 19.

  • Sean Scoular and Nathan McKim received $2,000 scholarships from the Rees Scholarship Foundation.
  • Anthony Petago received a $500 scholarship from Fort Collins Heating and Air Conditioning.

The Virginia-based Clifford H. “Ted” Rees Jr. Scholarship Foundation assists with the recruitment and competency of future HVAC technicians who are encouraged to attend programs with Partnership for Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Accreditation (PAHRA). FRCC’s PAHRA credential is an indication that its program meets or exceeds industry-validated standards.

Fort Collins Heating and Air has been family-owned and operated in Fort Collins since 1934.

FRCC’s HVAC Program is housed at FRCC-Loveland. Brad Guthrie is program director. Contact him at brad.guthrie@frontrange.edu for more information.
