Big Band Music Features in Outdoor Concert June 20 at Harmony Library

The longstanding Harmony in the Round music series at Front Range Community College goes outdoors June 20 with Harmony on the Green.

06_20Harmony-01The Colorado Swing Big Band will perform outdoors at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 20, on the lawn of Harmony Library on the Larimer Campus of FRCC, Harmony Road and Shields Street. Admission is free for this hour-long concert.

The Colorado Swing Big Band plays the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Bobby Darin, Etta James, Norah Jones, and others. Founded in 2004 as FortJazz Swing Band, the Colorado Swing Big Band has performed at summer festivals, fundraisers, private parties, dances, weddings and special events.

Harmony on the Green is a partnership between FRCC and the Poudre River Public Library District.
