Hear about Trends in Kitchen and Bath Design Oct. 5 at FRCC
Find out the latest trends in kitchen and bath design from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 5, at Front Range Community College. The event will take place in the Longs Peak Student Center on the Larimer Campus, Harmony Road and Shields Street, Fort Collins.
The student Design Club is sponsoring IDK+B, which stands for Interior Design-Kitchen and Bath. The club has invited two professionals to give presentations.
Cathy Rivers, an architectural color consultant, redesigner, and stager based in Lyons, will talk about Living and Working with Color Trends. She is the owner of Rivers Colorworks+Design. Jan Neiges, CKD, will talk about Design to Sell vs. Selling to Design. Neiges, vice president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association, has her own company, Jan Neiges CKD LLC.
In addition to the presentations, local professionals and vendors will have information booths. The newly constituted Creative Arts, Design, and Humanities Department at the Larimer Campus also will have displays.
Admission is free. All proceeds from any free-will donations or silent auction bids will be directed to northern Colorado flood relief.
