FRCC-Westminster to confer degrees, certificates May 16

Front Range Community College-Westminster Campus will confer degrees and certificates during its 2011 Commencement at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Denver Merchandise Mart, 451 E. 58th Ave.

FRCC awards degrees and certificates in the semester they are earned, but conducts commencement exercises only once a year, in the spring. Graduates from the summer and fall 2012 semesters and spring 2013 semester may participate.

Campus tradition is to have graduates, faculty, and students speak briefly about the way FRCC has influenced their lives. The “Voices” scheduled to speak at the 2013 Commencement are students Robert Boyer, Fermina Castillo, Brenda Russell, Teresa Trejo, and Melissa Garcia, and 2012 Master Teacher Ray Daugherty, Horticulture and Landscape Technologies faculty.
