Mexican Piano Music Subject of Lecture-Recital at FRCC Gallery

Ricardo de la Torre will give a lecture-recital on “100 Years of Mexican Piano Music” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in the Visual and Performing Arts Gallery at Front Range Community College.

VPAG Concert April 17De la Torre will offer a general panorama of piano music by Mexican composers in the period 1890-1996. Rarely heard works by Villanueva, Ponce, Chávez, Moncayo, and others will be played.

The gallery is Room C1660 at the Westminster Campus, 3645 W. 112th Ave., Westminster. Admission is free. Seating is limited.
