Legislative Candidates Invited to Forum Oct. 9 at FRCC in Fort Collins

Candidates for state Legislature are scheduled to attend a Legislative Forum from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Front Range Community College.

The forum will take place in the Longs Peak Student Center conference rooms on the Larimer Campus, Harmony Road and Shields Street, Fort Collins.

Invited candidates are Sydni Anderson, John Kefalas and Barrett Rithe in Senate District 14; Joann Ginal and Bob Morain in House District 52, and Randy Fischer and John Fye in House District 53.

The candidates have been asked to talk about what they would do to keep higher education affordable and accessible to everyone in Colorado. Members of the audience will have an opportunity to submit questions for the candidates.

Admission is free. Seating is limited, and FRCC students will be given priority.

Jeff Borg, political science faculty, will moderate. The forum is presented by the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department, Student Government Association, and Student Life.
