Registration Deadline for Cool Careers Camp July 9

Is it ever too early for students to start thinking about career possibilities?

If you’re a parent or a teacher, Front Range Community College has a great opportunity this August for your teens and students to explore potential career paths. It’s our Cool Careers Camp for students ages 13 to 16, facilitated by FRCC Continuing Education, Aug. 6-10.

Do you have a student or teen who is a nature lover? A talented cook? Someone who loves working with his or her hands? Cool Careers Camp is a five-day series of project-based, career discovery sessions led by FRCC instructors. Careers covered include:

  • Automotive Technology
  • Clean Energy
  • Culinary Arts
  • Emergency Medical Services
  • Forestry and Wildlife
  • Interior Design
  • Manufacturing Technology
  • Veterinary Medicine
  • Welding Technology

Who: Any student age 13 to 16

When: Aug. 6-10, 7:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. daily

Where: Larimer Campus, 4616 S. Shields Street, Fort Collins

Cost: $129, which includes snacks, drinks, materials, supplies, and a T-shirt.

Register by July 9, and apply early to be considered for a scholarship.
