Indie/pop singer to perform Dec. 9 in community college music series

A.J. Hassel, an Indie/pop singer-songwriter, will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the Brewing Market as part of the Front Range Community College Music Series.

Hassel, born and raised outside of Pittsburgh, has been writing and recording music for more than a decade. Initially a drummer, he shared the stage with countless musicians and short-lived bands. With vision and ambition, Hassel began his journey as a songwriter, breaking away from the pack and stepping into the spotlight.

Listeners can relate to Hassel’s music because it is inspired by hardships and other life experiences. With melancholy melodies and catchy, uplifting choruses, his music can be an emotional roller coaster bound to get stuck in your head.

Admission is free. The Brewing Market is located at 1520 S. Hover Road, Longmont.
