Boulder County Campus to Offer GED Preparation Classes

LONGMONT, Colo. – Front Range Community College will offer two GED preparation (GEDP) classes in the fall semester that include classroom instruction, online lessons, and tutoring.

The first session runs from Aug. 20 through Oct. 8; the second, Oct. 22 through Dec. 12. Classroom instruction is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays at the Boulder County Campus, 2121 Miller Drive, Longmont. Online instruction is available 24/7.

The combination of class time, online learning, and tutoring is unique. In classes, students will learn from experienced GED coaches. Students also can learn whenever and wherever they are online. Tutoring is scheduled throughout the course.

The cost of each seven-week session is $110. Registration can be taken over the telephone by calling (303) 678-3725.

The Colorado GED Testing Program is for candidates 17 years of age and older who have never been awarded a high school diploma or an equivalency diploma. Applicants must be Colorado residents, have Colorado mailing addresses, and must not be currently enrolled in high school.
